Connect your EventSquare account to Claude or ChatGPT. Your assistant can then look up your data during a conversation. For example, ask:
How many tickets did I sell today for my festival?
Find the order of jane.doe@example.com.
Which ticket type sells best?
What you need
You're an owner or manager of the EventSquare account.
You have a Claude or ChatGPT account.
This server address: https://mcp.eventsquare.io
Connect Claude
Add the connection on claude.ai or in the desktop app.
Go to Customize > Connectors.
Choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
Enter the name EventSquare, paste the server address and choose Continue.
Under Authentication, choose Sign in now. Under OAuth client, choose Register automatically. Then choose Add.
Sign in to EventSquare, choose your account and confirm with Connect Claude.
On Claude's free plan, you can add one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector under Organization settings > Connectors. You then choose Connect yourself.
Use it on your computer
In a conversation, click +, go to Connectors and turn on EventSquare.
Use it on your phone
Add the connector on your computer first. You'll then find it in the Claude app for iOS or Android when you sign in with the same account.
Connect ChatGPT
Add the connection in your browser on chatgpt.com. You can't do this in the app. What you can do depends on your plan:
Business: only workspace admins and owners add and publish the connection. Colleagues then find it under Settings > Plugins.
Enterprise or Edu: admins, owners and members with permission add the connection. Only admins and owners publish it.
Pro: you can view data, but not resend tickets or create reservations.
Don't see the option? Your plan or workspace doesn't allow it. Ask your admin or check OpenAI's help page.
Go to chatgpt.com/plugins.
Choose the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
Enter the name EventSquare and paste the server address under Server URL.
Choose OAuth for authentication. Read the warning and tick I understand and want to continue.
Choose Create as a plugin, review the tools it finds and install the plugin.
Sign in to EventSquare, choose your account and confirm with Connect ChatGPT.
Use it
Start a new conversation, type @ and choose EventSquare. This applies per message: do it again when a follow-up question needs new data.
On desktop or your phone
You can only add the connection on the web, so not on your phone. Whether you can then use it in the ChatGPT apps depends on ChatGPT.
What your assistant can do
View: events, orders, customers, reservations and stats.
Act, only when you ask: resend tickets and create reservations. Real people receive an email, so check the details before you confirm.
An assistant can make mistakes. Check important figures in your EventSquare account.
What your assistant looks up appears in your conversation, so Anthropic or OpenAI processes it. This can include customer data. Only connect if that fits how your organisation handles data.
Disconnect an app
In EventSquare, go to Settings > Apps and choose Disconnect. The app loses access right away.
A connection belongs to you and to one account. For another account, make a new connection. If you're no longer an owner or manager, your connection stops working.
Having trouble?
You see a message that only owners and managers can connect: ask an owner of your account, or sign in with another login.
The app can't find EventSquare in a conversation: start a new conversation and check that the connector is turned on.
